Terms of Service

These are the plain-English terms for Scoop North's dog-waste removal service. By requesting a quote, claiming an offer, or using our service, you agree to them.
1. The service
We remove dog waste from the yard areas you tell us about, on the schedule you choose. We sanitize our boots and tools before entering your yard, close and latch your gate when we leave, and send you a photo as confirmation. Waste is double-bagged and placed in your own outdoor municipal waste bin at your property, where it goes out with your regular municipal collection.
2. Access
You'll give us a way into the yard on service days — an unlocked gate or a gate code. If we can't get in (locked gate, blocked access, or an unsafe situation), we may skip the visit; skipped visits caused by no access may still be charged, because the route time is reserved for you.
3. Dogs
Friendly dogs are welcome to supervise. If your dog may be protective of the yard, please tell us and bring them inside after our on-the-way text. If a dog behaves aggressively, we'll leave safely, let you know, and treat it as a no-access visit. You're responsible for your dog's behaviour under Ontario law.
4. Billing
Plans are billed monthly from your start date. No contracts: pause, skip, or cancel any time with a text — changes take effect from your next unbilled visit. First-cleanup-free applies to new weekly, twice-weekly and daily plans; heavily overgrown first visits may need a quoted one-time reset, which we'll always confirm with you before doing any work. Prices never change without telling you first.
5. Weather
We work rain, snow, or shine. In snow season we clear what's visible; the spring reset catches what winter hides. If severe weather makes a visit unsafe, we'll make it up as soon as possible — you're never charged for a visit that didn't happen (except no-access skips above).
6. Our guarantee & liability
Find a pile after we've left? Text us a photo within 24 hours and we'll re-clean free. Our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding month. We're insured; we're careful; we're also human.
7. Messages
We send service texts (on-the-way, gate photos, scheduling) and occasional service emails. Reply STOP to any text or use the unsubscribe link in emails to opt out — though service notifications are part of how the service works.
8. Privacy
We keep your contact details, yard notes, and service history to run the service. We never sell your information. Gate photos are shared only with you.
